Blouson Noir by Melanie Ward & Graham Tabor

What’d you do after serving two important modernists: 13 years with Helmut Lang as creative director, then a stint at Lagerfeld? You start your own label! That’s what Melanie Ward did. She set up a new line namely Blouson Noir with newbie Graham Tabor.

Tabor, a freelance styliste, knitwear and design consultant who bases in New York. His work at Festival International de Mode et Photographie d’Hyères 2008 drew attentions and talk-abouts from the inner crowd in Europe. From the look of SS10, Blouson Noir might not be the solution for us all to fill the gap of Lang, but it might be filling Luella’s for young girls. Read more.
